CAH markets and exports handmade goods, provides business and literacy training, and offers emergency financial support—often serving as the primary source of income for artisans and their families.
Haiti Design Company empowers Haitian artisans by creating fair-wage jobs and producing ethically made home décor, accessories, and gifts. The company blends traditional Haitian craftsmanship with modern design to reach global markets. Through sustainable partnerships, it helps strengthen local communities and preserve cultural heritage. Haiti Design Company exists to prove that good design can create lasting social impact.
The Haiti Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Haitian artisans and strengthening local communities through fair trade partnerships. By providing access to markets, resources, and sustainable income opportunities, The Haiti Project helps preserve traditional craftsmanship while empowering families and promoting economic stability in Haiti.
Stimulated by the owners vision to stimulate economic activity in Haiti, the owner and longtime activist started selling her projects. This also became an opportunity to offer Haitians jobs.
